Rosh HaShanah, which in Hebrew it translates to “head of the year,” marks the start of the Jewish New Year. It’s a time of celebration and reflection. Here at Temple Sinai, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services are our most attended services of the year. To continue our year round culture of providing a warm and welcoming community for all, not just temple members, we open some services to the greater community (at no cost). Nearly all services are live streamed allowing for your participation to be in person or virtual.
Our Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur family services are open to our entire community at no cost. While we do not require tickets for these services, we will require non-members to proceed through our security procedures and provide basic contact information before entering the building. Temple members may move through the expedited line.
Our traditional services for Erev Rosh Hashanah, Rosh Hashanah morning (day one only), Kol Nidre, and Yom Kippur morning & afternoon are reserved for Temple Sinai members. Non-members may join us in person or virtually by contacting the office to discuss a suggested donation of $250 per person to support Temple Sinai’s wide range of important religious, educational, cultural programs and priorities. A gift of a purchased ticket allows Temple Sinai to continue its work of providing for the spiritual well being of our community and to live our mission of “a place for all”.
