Finance

Sometimes it’s difficult to remember that our synagogue, while being a spiritual home, still has important financial needs. As a non-profit, we carefully review our expenses and create a budget to meet those needs. The Finance Committee is a group of volunteers who take an interest and responsibility for the financial wellbeing of the congregation. Our goal is to provide long term financial health which will allow us to continue our sacred work and to ensure that our community, building and property are taken care of. Areas include budget, investments, reviewing and managing large expenses, and more!

Because our sustaining financial commitment from members does not fully cover our budgeted expenses the finance committee works closely with development (fundraising) to ensure that no one is turned away from membership due to financial barriers. If you want to be a member here, there is always a way!

If this interests you, or you have a particular skill in financial matters, please contact the Finance Committee Chairperson.
